2009 has already arrived at your local Pontiac dealer, in the shape of the 2009 Vibe.

The popular small 5-door crossover has been completely redesigned with a smoother skin and more powerful engines.

The redesign continues on the inside, where every button and knob has been re-thought for easier use. The materials have also been upgraded, with new low-gloss plastics, satin-metal accents, new cloth seats in some models and standard leather-trimmed seats in the Vibe GT.

Powering the new Vibe is a 1.8-liter four-cylinder in the base models, or an optional 2.4-liter four cylinder for a little extra oomph.

The price of the base Vibe starts at $15,895. The all-wheel drive model starts at $19,495 and the GT starts at $19,895. The 2009 Vibe is already available at Pontiac dealerships.
