Got a spare $160,000 for a holiday gift? Neiman Marcus has an idea for you.BMW announced that it is offering 31 personalized units of its 7 Series automobiles through the annual Neiman Marcus Christmas Book, called Neiman Marcus Limited-Edition 2009 BMW Individual 7 Series. The 31 available cars is symbolic of the 31st anniversary of BMW's 7 series, its largest cars.The car is a limited edition of the all-new BMW 7 Series -- based on the 750Li -- that will make its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November.The Individual 7 Series sedan includes iridescent Diopside Black metallic paintwork and Champagne Merino full leather. The automobile is accented with interior Piano Black trim elements and BMW Individual steering wheel in Piano Black finish with wood ring insert and BMW Individual branding.Each automobile also includes a European driving experience along the French Riviera.The new car owners will take delivery of the automobiles from the BMW Welt in Munich, Germany, in April 2009, and then set off on a multi-city vacation in the south of France. The stop in Munich will offer insider access to BMW's headquarters before road-testing the new car on a trip to Monaco, Nice and Cannes.Upon completion of the trip, the purchaser's new vehicle will be shipped back to the United States for immediate delivery.The opportunity to order the car and "fantasy driving experience" as BMW called it, begins at noon EDT on Thursday, Oct. 16 by calling 1-866-303-2696.The last BMW offered in the Neiman Marcus Christmas Book sold out.
