Boeing Signs Agreement With Iraq Government

SEATTLE, Wash. -- Boeing confirmed reports Monday that it has signed an agreement with the government of Iraq for the purchase of 30 Next-Generation 737s and 10 787 Dreamliners.The order would be worth more than $3 billion at list prices, depending on which models are ordered. The estimated actual order price, based on the Avitas database, is $1.95 billion or more.Iraq Airways, the national carrier, announced in February it planned to buy planes from Boeing.The order will be booked once a final contract has been signed, the company said.
