KIRO 7 is proud to be the exclusive television sponsor of Pedal For A Purpose and the Group Health Seattle To Portland (STP) Bicycle Classic July 12-13, 2003.

Pedal For A Purpose is a program that allows cyclists to ride the Group Health STP Bicycle Classic and raise needed funds for local charities. The Group Health STP Bicycle Classic, produced by Cascade Bicycle Club, is a recreational ride of approximately 200 miles that begins at the University of Washington on July 12th and ends at Holladay Park in Portland, Oregon on July 13th.

Proceeds raised from the Group Health STP benefit Cascade Bicycle Club and are used for child safety and educational programs, to protect and enhance bike trails and to keep streets bicycle-friendly.
