AG’s Office Releases Results Of Gas Price Investigation
The Washington State Attorney General’s office released on Thursday the results of an investigation as to why gas prices have climbed dramatically over the past year.The report blames the hike on wholesale prices, supply costs and retail competition.The report did not find any evidence of illegal conduct or gas gouging.Currently, the average price for a gallon of gasoline in Washington is $3.58.
