Body Found On Snoqualmie River

POSTED: 5:35 pm PDT July 13, 2008
UPDATED: 10:59 am PDT July 14, 2008

An autopsy is planned Monday on the body of a man who was found in the Snoqualmie River near Fall City.

A marine unit was called on Sunday to the scene at 4400 Preston-Fall City Road Southeast to recover the body. Officials said the body has been in the water for a considerable amount of time.

Police said they believe it may be the body of a 32-year-old man who went missing in the river June 30, when the raft he was on with three other people overturned.

The three people were able to make it to the shore.
