If you're on death row, you certainly have plenty of time to think about what you would like for your last meal, but you really have to wonder if they always get what they want..

It's pretty easy to imagine a prison kitchen where guards have a last meal menu from a prisoner. It seems more likely than not that they would try to figure out how to get it by not driving more than a half-hour one way.

So, maybe a prisoner on the verge of being the "Last Man Standing" having whatever they want to eat is the stuff of prison legend that somehow has found its way into pop culture lore.

But, happy to go along with lore, we went ahead and asked the ragtag group of editors and writers in the cubicles around us what they would request as their last meal before taking their final walk.
