Julian, Sean Lennon Break 8-Year Silence

NEW YORK -- After eight years of feuding, the silence has been broken between John Lennon's sons.According to the New York Post, half-brothers Julian Lennon and Sean Lennon have reconciled after an eight-year feud.The Post said that the rift stemmed from comments Julian Lennon made about Sean Lennon's mother, Yoko Ono. Julian Lennon's mother is Cynthia, the late former Beatle's first wife."I thought it time to make big changes in my own life," Julian Lennon said. "Part of that has been to get Sean back into my life, because I love him so much."The Post said that it was Julian Lennon's first interview since 1999.After contacting Sean's tour manager earlier this year, Julian Lennon surprised his half-brother backstage after a show in Prague. He said that they hugged.Julian Lennon, 44, said that he joined Sean Lennon, 31, on the tour bus, sleeping on the floor, traveling through Croatia and Slovenia.Both Lennon brothers have followed their father's footsteps and have recorded several albums.Julian Lennon's 1990 debut album "Valotte" spawned hits including the title track and "Too Late for Goodbyes." His other hits include "Saltwater" and "Day After Day."Sean Lennon debut album "Into the Sun" came out in 1998, and last year he released the album "Friendly Fire."
