Performer Joins Other Celebrities In Monday Night Parade

NEW ORLEANS -- Performer Harry Connick Jr. will ride in the parade put on by the krewe he co-founded, the Krewe of Orpheus announced Wednesday.Connick Jr. will be returning to his native New Orleans to celebrate Lundi Gras with family and friends. He co-founded Orpheus in 1993.He joins other celebrity riders already in the Orpheus lineup, including comedian and actor Jim Belushi, "Mad Men" star Bryan Batt, television icon Joan Rivers, country singer Josh Gracin and the cast of Comedy Central's "Reno 911."Orpheus parades through uptown New Orleans at 6 p.m. Monday. Connick Jr. will also attend the krewe's ball that follows.
