Bruce Willis Offers $1 Million Reward For Bin Laden

Posted: 7:47 am PST November 15, 2005

Bruce Willis apparently doesn't think the U.S. government's reward is enough to inspire someone to turn in Osama bin Laden.

Willis told Rita Cosby on MSNBC that he would throw in $1 million of his own money to any civilian who turns in bin Laden.

Osama bin Laden is considered America's most wanted terrorist suspect.

According to September11News.com, during a TV interview on May 28, 2001, Bin Laden called on Muslims to kill Americans, regardless of whether they are civilians or military:

"Allah ordered us in this religion to purify Muslim land of all non-believers… After World War II, the Americans became more aggressive and oppressive, especially in the Muslim world. American history does not distinguish between civilians and military, and not even women and children. They are the ones who used the bombs against Nagasaki. Can these bombs distinguish between infants and military? America does not have a religion that will prevent it from destroying all people."

The U.S. Department of State is offering a reward of up to $25 million for information leading directly to the apprehension or conviction of Bin Laden. An additional $2 million is being offered through a program developed and funded by the Airline Pilots Association and the Air Transport Association.

If you have any information concerning bin Laden, you should contact your local FBI office or the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate.
