Like other grand old theaters of its era, the Paramount originally served as a vaudeville and silent film venue. For the last 25 years, however, the Paramount has been a favored place for touring acts that range from ear-splitting rock bands to Broadway musicals, comedians, and just about anything people want to see.

Its exquisite interior is worth a trip alone. Once in ruins, it was meticulously restored over a six-month period and now is as beautiful as it was in 1928, or more so.
