Immense detail has gone into the re-creation of various natural environments, from the Northern Trail of Alaska where wolves and deer roam, to the tropical rainforest biodome that houses all manner of birds and reptiles, to the Elephant Forest which, naturally, is home to some of the largest animals to be found in the Northwest, albeit unnaturally

The zoo is located at 5500 Phinney Ave N. Enter from Phinney on the west side of the park.

TICKETS:
Tickets go on sale May 22nd at all PCC Natural Markets (with a $2 service charge per ticket). Childrean 12 and under are free. See www.pccnaturalmarkets.com or call (206) 547-1222. A very limited number of tickets will also be available at all zoo gates during regular zoo hours (no service charge) beginning May 22nd. Tickets sell out very fast!!! Please plan ahead.

WHERE:
All concerts are held at the Zoo's North Meadow. The North Meadow is near the North Gate off N. 59th St. & Phinney Ave. N. Other entries are through the South Gate at N. 50th St. & Fremont Ave. N. and the West Gate at N. 55th St. & Phinney Ave. N.

Getting There And Parking:
Bike or bus, it’s the Way to Go...to the zoo. There are several bus routes that all stop within blocks of the zoo. Also, the zoo provides secure, staffed bike corrals located at the North Gate, which are free of charge. For Metro information call (206) 553-3000 or check http://transit.metrokc.govfor routes and information. If you do need to drive, consider carpooling and using the parking lot at Lower Woodland Park, just east of the south entrance to the zoo on N. 50th St. & Fremont Ave. N. Otherwise, you may park in the zoo lots for free anytime after 4:00 p.m. If space is not available in the parking lots, please be considerate of the local residents when parking in the surrounding neighborhood. Please do not block driveways or leave garbage
