The Juilliard String Quartet continues its tradition of vibrant performance with Joseph Lin as its new first violinist and Juilliard faculty colleague. The quartet is celebrated the world over for its technical excellence and interpretive expressiveness. The Juilliard performs nearly the complete repertory for string quartet in ways that thrill audiences as well as composers, and is known for playing new works as if they were established masterpieces, and established masterpieces as if they were new.
