The Museum of Flight is pleased to announce a new Ground School program on the DC-2, one of the most important airframes in the history of commercial aviation. Learn all about the manufacturing and flight history of this legendary airplane, learn its mechanical and operational systems, and gain a better understanding of the skills necessary to fly and maintain it successfully.Conducted on the Museum’s own DC-2, which at one time served as a “Smoke Jumper” aircraft in Montana, the Ground School class will be held Saturday, October 6, from 9am-5pm.The following day, rides will be given to Ground School participants from 11am-3pm.The Museum of Flight invites you to this chance of a lifetime opportunity to be a part of living aviation history!For ticket information please click the following link: http://www.museumtix.com/program/program.aspx?vid=876&pid=15013194
