Join us for an evening of dinner, auction, dancing, and celebration at our 5th Annual Mardi Gras Ball: Five Years of Faerietales as we raise funds to benefit Gay City Health Project (www.gaycity.org) in their mission to promote wellness in LGBT communities by providing health services, connecting people to resources, fostering arts, and building community. Our MCs for the gala will once again be the dynamic duo of drag Lily Armani and GLAMAZONIA! We will be hosting an evening of Mardi Gras dining and dancing at the 415 Westlake center in South Lake Union on Saturday February 9th, 2013. The ticket price includes a full dinner, drinks, silent auction, and dancing the night away in order to benefit Gay City Health Project. Tickets must be purchased in advance; NO TICKETS FOR SALE AT THE DOOR. Doors open at 6:00pm for check in and cocktail hour featuring live music from Rainbow City Band's Purple Passion Jazz Combo. We encourage you to get there early to participate in the full evening of fun events we have planned for you! Don't forget to bring cash, check book, or credit/debit cards to participate in our fabulous golden ticket raffle, silent auction, and dessert dash race fundraisers! This is a semi-formal event with cocktail attire, black tie, or dark suit encouraged, so please dress accordingly. Mardi Gras or Faerietale themed costumes, masks and accessories are highly encouraged as an addition to or in lieu of formal attire. For an idea of the ambience, pictures from past galas can be found on our website: www.lesfaeriesvertes.org Les Faeries Vertes is a Seattle-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 2008. We aim to do good for our community while having a great time doing it! Modeled after the Mardi Gras krewe organizations of New Orleans, Louisiana and Mobile, Alabama, our mission is to support local charities while introducing people to the culture and fun of Mardi Gras. Each year our membership selects a local/regional charity for which we throw a Mardi Gras benefit ball in February or March. Throughout the rest of the year, we have smaller events to raise funds for our selected charities. 85 - 85 USD
