Seattle Center, Next Fifty Plaza 321 Mercer St Seattle, WA 98109 Thursday, August 23, 2012, 11am – 8pm Dates: July-August, 2012 Time: Tuesday-Sunday, 11:00 AM-8:00 PM (tentative timing) Location: Seattle Center, Next Fifty Plaza The Global Health Experience Exhibit in the Next 50 Plaza on Seattle Center grounds introduces global health challenges and successes to the public through four personal stories from across the globe, and focuses on malaria; maternal, newborn child health; diabetes; cancer; and water and sanitation. Experience and respond to the life of a person affected by these challenges and learn about global health innovations created in Washington State. The Exhibit culminates in the Pathways to Global Health Activity Tent, filled with hands-on activities from more than thirty global health organizations in Washington State. The Exhibit promises child-friendly experiences, engaging educational projects, and opportunities to get involved. Activities will rotate throughout the summer so be sure to visit the Global Health Experience more than once. This event is organized by the Washington Global Health Alliance. It is an official event of Seattle Center’s The Next Fifty, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Seattle’s World’s Fair.
