Winter Season Olympic League Program Overview  The Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue Olympic League is designed for the experienced basketball player and offers a higher level of competition than our typical winter basketball league. Coaches are expected to bring their full teams to the league and email the Senior Athletic Director before the end of October to check team registration. This league is not recommended for beginners. This competitive league will play under modified BGCB Rules (allowing zone defense, trapping, pressing, double teaming, etc). This league includes one game per week and two, one-hour practicesper week throughout the season (Depending on gym usage allotments). Practices start in December and games begin in January. The post season single elimination tournament will start in March. Games will be played at the Bellevue Boys & Girls Club Main Club or South Bellevue Community Center, Mercer Island Boys & Girls Club or Islander Middle School.
