STG presents The Dream Factory, an HD ski film by Teton Gravity Research at the Neptune in Seattle on October 11, 2012.“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” -Walt DisneyFlying in a helicopter through a remote mountain range, landing on untouched peaks, floating down pristine powder — this is the dream of every skier who has ever clicked into a pair of bindings. It’s the reason Teton Gravity Research has made the pilgrimage to America’s last frontier for the past 16 years — there is only one place in the world where this is possible: Alaska, The Dream Factory.TGR is proud to announce the GET RAD! PASS. Get the best seats in the house along with exclusive bar access, guaranteed swag packs from evo, Stevens Pass, Atomic, and more. Price includes one beer or wells drink from the bar. Limited quantities available, and only on sale at evo. 21+ with ID. Passes only available for the late 9pm show. Net proceeds from the GET RAD! PASS to benefit the Outdoors For All Foundation.Throughout history Alaska has been a place of dreams. From the early Gold Rush days, to the oil boom, to the explosion of the ski and snowboard freeride movement, the concept of Alaska isn't so much a spot on a map, but more of a grand idea. Based on just a whim, early settlers chose to leave everything, follow their gut instinct and transplant to a foreign, unforgiving land. Like the frontiersmen before them, modern-day pioneers of the freeride movement; Doug Coombs, Eric Pehota and Trevor Peterson made the dream of skiing in Alaska a reality. On this cinematic voyage, follow TGR’s contemporary explorers through Alaska’s awe-inspiring expanse, rich history and colorful characters. From steep mountain faces to the iconic fishing communities, join Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, Seth Morrison, Dash Longe and the rest of the TGR team as they delve deep in to the Alaskan way of life, finding the best snow on earth and skiing the terrain the most of us only dream about. The journey will feed web series, blogs, social media channels, and online contests. The TGR team has partnered with Apple to deliver ongoing HD uploads “Live From the Field”. These on-the-fly clips, shot on HD iPhones, will allow millions of viewers to track the TGR team in real time. This entire adventure will be produced into TGR’s 16th annual ski and snowboard film, scheduled to premiere in the fall of 2012 kicking off the start of winter to TGR fans all over the world.
