Hands on 'Make and Take' for a Festive Wreath   Mary Saleeby, Botanical Art expert here at 21 Acres, will help you learn the secrets to creating a professional-looking wreath of greens and natural elements for the holidays. You will go home with a completed wreath as well as skills to make wreaths for your every day home by re-using the frame. We will supply basics that you need, but we also would like you to learn to look at nature for your own supplies.  To get started on using elements found in nature, take a walk around your yard and cut greenery, gather grasses, cones, berries, twigs and bring them with you. We will supply an 18” wire wreath frame, extra wire, pine cones, baby’s breath, as well as additional greenery and other natural elements, as well as gloves to protect your hands from the greenery resins. Along with your fresh or dried natural elements (pine cones, berries, flowers, etc.) you should also bring, a pair of garden clippers and ribbon if you wish to add one to your wreath (Mary will also teach you the secrets of professional bow making!) If you do not have greenery available, don’t worry, we’ll have it here for you. Class size is small so everyone will have time and attention; register early!Bring:  Garden clippers, your own greenery clipped from your yard, ribbon if a bow is desired.Instructor Mary Saleeby is amazing at creating beautiful arrangements from natural elements; you can find her creations in our market and she can also do custom arrangements just for you.  With years in the floral industry, 21 Acres is pleased to have Mary doing all aspects of botanical work at 21 Acres and in doing so, she find amazing ways to use natural elements from the landscape that might be invisible to the rest of us. 21 Acres Member Discount To become a member and/or to receive your member discount on this class, register by contacting Deb at 425-481-1500 or deb@21acres.org.
