Join us as SAM's outstanding curators explore thought-provoking topics within their areas of SAM's permanent collection. Catharina Manchanda, the Jon and Mary Shirley Curator of Modern & Contemporary Art, and artist Victoria Haven will discuss ideas relating to the works presented in Haven's installation in the exhibition Elles: SAM-Singular Works from Seminal Women Artists at the Seattle Art Museum. Haven utilizes ephemeral objects of personal significance-such as a list of songs from a long-lost mixed tape-that have undergone a series of permutations.
