Portland Det. Sam Reeves had never fired his weapon in his 15 years on the force. In the space of one month he’s forced to not only draw it, but kill three people. His psychological damage is heightened when a man comes to see him claiming to be his father, when Sam was told his dad died decades ago in a Viet Cong prison camp. Still, the man is convincing and needs Sam’s help: he’s crossed some Vietnamese hardcases, they’ve torched his martial arts school and may be going after Sam’s half-sister who is about to graduate from a Portland college. Debut novel from a martial arts expert and ex-Portland cop. He will be on hand to sign books and speak informally to his fans. All we ask is you purchase one of his new books at our store, so we can continue to host these great events!
