Michele will demonstrate daily her approach to painting the figure from life and from photographs. Learn to use the elements that make a painting work; creative use of color & edges, visual movement, paint application, distribution of abstract shapes and strong design. Students will work on a painting done from life, and create a finished painting using photos in the studio using oil and acrylic paints. Each student will receive individual instruction as well as critique and group discussions. Michele’s classes are characterized by her enthusiasm, positive support and a high level of expectation for her students. You will work hard and feel rewarded after three days of intense focus and painting.
