In the ponds, plants, and creeks of Carkeeks wetlands, bugs, birds, and people intertwine to make a zone of life. Indulge in a two hour wet whirlwind to find out how this zone works and whether it can survive. Bring your boots. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at Carkeek Parks model airplane field parking lot. 90977 Contact Discovery Park Environmental Learning Center at 206-386-4236 and a staff person can register you for the program of your choice, or go to www.seattle.gov/parks and use the online registration system -SPARC.
