Location: *Central Library Contact Info: World Languages 206-684-0849 or e-mail Description: Bring your family for an afternoon of music, singing, dancing and poetry presented by Seattle's Russian community. Description: Lovers of Russian poetry will be delighted to hear an actress Vasilina Martemyak recite selections from famous Russian poets like Sergei Yesenin, A.S. Pushkin and M. Lermontov. Ensemble Ivan-da-Mariya will perform several dances. Singers Faina Morozova and Aleksandr Serzhant will sing popular Russian songs, as will Konstantin Sokolov, Aleksandr Geints, Alena Eremenko, Bonia Kleiman and Yana Yakuba. Two children groups, Grasshoppers and Students of the St. Nicholas Cathedral Orthodox School, will sing childrens songs and perform a scene from "The Tale of A Fisherman and A Fish," a play based on A.S. Pushkin's fairy tale in verse.
