Anchor Books Reading Series - Whidbey Life Magazine - Wed Dec 19 at 6:00PM Join C.J. Booth, author of Olive Park and William Xander author of The Sparrow and Other Works,, for a night of literature and poetry readings. Admission is free and the coffee will be ready, tea in bulk, or just a steaming cup to warm your hands. Come down to Anchor Books and Coffee in Clinton for the first ever event in the to-be monthly Anchor Books Reading Series.
Olive Park by C.J. Booth was granted Best Mystery of 2012 by Global E-Book Awards as well as Top 5 Mysteries from Readers Favorite Awards. William Xander's short story The Sparrow is the recipient of third place in The Spirit of Writing contest in short fiction.
