The Miss Auburn Scholarship Program is the strongest community-based scholarship competition of its kind in the state. In 1997 the Miss American organization proclaimed the Miss Auburn Scholarship Fund to be the largest in the entire Miss America local pageant system. The Miss Auburn Scholarship Pageant is an official preliminary to the Miss Washington and Miss America Pageants. The Miss Auburn Scholarship Program is open to young women of the Auburn community who are interested in serving in a leadership role that fosters community service. Three years ago we added the Miss Auburn Outstanding Teen Program to give even more young ladies a chance to learn and grow to become successful young women. This year we have decided to join the two groups together to give you one great weekend. Both groups of young ladies will be on stage both nights, performing talent, showing you how poised they are and making it really hard for the judges to chose a winner for each group.
