Te Fare O Tamatoa, a non profit organization established in 2008, consists of a diverse group of people who share a passion for Tahitian culture and history. Our mission is to raise cultural awareness and educate our community about Tahitian culture through the art form of traditional dance and drumming. We actively support and collaborate with various organizations including the Seattle Art Museum, Ethnic Heritage Council, and Seattle Theater Group to name a few. Te Fare O Tamatoa truly appreciates all of our dedicated students who share our mission and love for Tahitian dance and music. The Student Showcase will feature our students, while raising monies for our operating costs for costumes, equipment, rent, transportation, and educational expenses. The unyielding support of our family and friends motivate us as we continue to strive to fulfill our mission.
