Alice Ambrose and Anastacia Townsend, Certified Infant Massage Educators with IAIM will be giving a comprehensive presentation on Infant Massage. They will discuss the benefits of infant massage for the family, baby and community including; better sleep, less post partum depression, better communication and bonding between the infant and their care giver(s). They will talk about the importance and significance of touch, the science and research behind massage and its effects. You will find out where infant massage is being taught around Seattle and what it takes to become an instructor yourself. Alice and Anastacia are massage therapists, mothers, and work in allied birth professions. They have taught infant massage classes and private sessions for several years.
