Sponge invites families to celebrate La Chandeleur or “crêpe day,” a celebration of the beloved French pancake, at both our Seattle and Bellevue locations. On Feb. 2 in Seattle, kids will learn to make crêpes with French chef and cookbook author Muriel-Marguerite Foucher of Paris Eastside. There will be French songs, stories and crafts for families to enjoy. The celebration continues on Feb. 3 in Bellevue with visiting chef and Sponge teacher Clotilde Pitsch who is bringing her special French crêpe machine! Yummy crêpes, friends, music and family fun - it's a great way to start 2013. Ages: 0 to 8
