Right in Sammamish, Soaring Eagle is a very popular destination for runners and hikers alike with easy to access trailheads. Born to Run has teamed up with Evergreen Trail Runs to bring you the second Born to Run Trail Run at Soaring Eagle Park. Whether you run barefoot, in minimalist shoes or haven't made the transition, we encourage all trail runners to come out and enjoy what nature has to offer! We'll have some great raffle prizes and once again, award the Silver Monkey award to the person the most embodies the spirit of barefoot running.The distances offered are 5 Mile, 10 Mile, Marathon and 50K. For views of the trails, check out pictures by Glenn Tachiyama from previous years. A fully stocked Aid Station at Mile 4, and one at Start/Finish will give runners plenty of places to fuel up. We will have water, Nuun, PBJ sandwiches, organic fruit, cookies, pretzels and more. And as always there will be pizza, chips, chocolates, cookies, an assortment of beverages and fruit, plus other goodies after the race.Looking forward to seeing you out there!
