Bothell High School students will be invited to perform live with their rock bands at a concert in the spring, held at Bothell High School (April 6, 2013.) Students who are in a band, or who would like to form one for the event, will have an opportunity to be selected to perform a set of songs, live, in a rock concert at BHS. The idea is to promote students’ musical talents outside of school organized groups or functions, and to provide a venue for student bands to be heard at a real “gig” with friends, family, and peers in the audience. The concert will be approximately 2 to 2.5 hours in length. Depending on the number of bands performing, each band member will play for about 20 minutes. See the website at www.bothellrocks.com for more information, rules, and band registration details.
