PEPS aims to provide our Parent Talk lectures at a minimal cost to parents. The fee for this lecture is $15 or pay-what-you-can. Please help PEPS continue to provide programming of this type by paying the $15 fee if you are able to do so. Each registration entitles you to bring your spouse or partner. Baby's sleep impacts their well-being and development, and affects everyone in the family. Join us and learn: - How much sleep, including daytime naps, do infants and toddlers need (parents too!) - What sleep does for the developing child - How to create a healthy bedtime routine that promotes sleep - What's the best way for your family to respond to night-time awakenings The emphasis will be on sleep parenting skills you can use right away, including creating a healthy sleep plan for your child, and for the whole family. Dr. Catherine Darley is a naturopathic sleep specialist located in Seattle. In addition to patient care, she provides sleep education to PTAs, and to corporations. Dr. Darley particularly enjoys working with children, in hopes of preventing the chronic sleep problems many adults experience. You can learn more about her work at www.naturalsleepmedicine.net, or contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org, 206-624-9950. Join us at the Verity Credit Union Training Center, which has plenty of parking. Babes-in-arms under 6 months are welcome at this lecture. We cannot accomodate children over 6 months.
