The public is invited to attend this year’s FIRST Robotics Competition Seattle Regional at CenturyLink Event Center on March 28-30. Sixty-four teams of high school students from across the Pacific Northwest will compete – robot against robot – with the goal of scoring as many points as possible during a two-minute and 15-second match. Teams will vie for regional awards and a spot at the FIRST Robotics Competition Championship on April 24-27 in St. Louis.
FIRST is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to inspiring students to be science and technology leaders by engaging them in mentor-based programs that build science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) skills. For more information, visit http://www.usfirst.org/.
