SVP Fast Pitch Seattle Jumpstart Workshop - Building Your Business or Nonprofit and Getting It Funded Ideas are plentiful. Execution is hard. No matter what socially innovative business venture you're working on – be it nonprofit or for-profit – understanding how you earn revenue, develop customers (or constituents), deliver value to them, and build an organization that is sustainable and scalable is absolutely critical. Starting smart makes for better business futures. And what about raising money? At some point, you'll need to fundraise to get operations off the ground or take your organization to a new level. In this VERY hands-on workshop you'll get a crash course in these critical areas of business and emerge with a solid foundation and a clear sense of what to do next for your fledgling idea or growing organization. While attendees don't need to prepare anything in advance, they should read up on the Business Model Canvass: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Business_Model_Canvas
