What decisions can we make to solve some of the most critical and complex issues in energy today? It takes creativity and some real ingenuity to tackle these problems. We will explore key decision points through the lens of consumer demand. Commercial buildings consume 1/3 of the electricity in the USA. This is driven by tenant energy demands. These societal needs affect the electricity infrastructure, transportation system and consumption behaviors. Participants will gain a strong understanding of the intersection between energy, information and finance that influences our economy. Energy solutions that reduce costs and grows a business will be long-term sustainable. We will identify key opportunities within the energy landscape, analyze how seemingly different issues affect each other and learn framework systems for solutions.
