July 4th
WaMu Family 4th For the seventh consecutive year, Seattle-based Washington Mutual will present the WaMu Family 4th at Lake Union’s Gas Works Park (2101 N. Northlake Way). The free admission, full day, family tradition takes place from noon to 11pm on Independence Day and features the WaMu Playfield, a wide menu of food offerings, and a lakeside beer garden for those 21 and over.

This year’s event will also feature a performance of the National Anthem by esteemed blues and jazz singer Francine Reed and a Lake Union flyover by a Fort Lewis-based Army Reserve Chinook helicopter. The day-long celebration culminates at approximately 10pm with a world-renowned fireworks show within the natural amphitheater of Lake Union.

GETTING THERE
There are multiple ways to get to the WaMu Family 4th! Attendees are encouraged to walk or ride their bikes to the park to avoid post-fireworks traffic congestion.
