Green Mountain, in the Glacier Peak Wilderness area northeast of Darrington, offers breathtaking looks of Glacier Peak and the North Cascades. Under normal driving conditions, drive 7 miles north of Darrington on Highway 530 to the Suiattle River Road.

Turn right and drive 20 miles to Forest Service road 2680. Turn left and drive 6 miles to the trailhead.

The Suiattle River Road was severely damaged after winter storms so it may be a while before you can drive to the trail head. For further information, check with the Darrington Ranger District at 360-436-1155.
