(Sports Network) - Rashanda McCants scored 23 points to lead the top-seeded North Carolina Tar Heels to an 80-66 victory over the eighth-seeded Georgia Lady Bulldogs in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Erlana Larkins pitched in 18 points and 10 rebounds for North Carolina (32-2), which will take on fourth-seeded Louisville in the Sweet 16 from the New Orleans Region.

Tasha Humphrey posted 20 points and 10 rebounds in the loss for Georgia (23-10), which got 14 points from Megan Darrah.

North Carolina scored the final 10 points of the first half to grab a 36-33 lead at intermission.

The Tar Heels opened the second stanza with a 20-7 run and cruised to victory.

Georgia turned the ball over 24 times in the clash, the most obvious reason for the double-digit loss.
