Detroit, MI -- (Sports Network) - Sunday's scheduled series finale between the New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers was postponed due to rain.

No make-up date for the game was announced.

Sunday's probably pitchers were Andy Pettitte for the Yankees and Nate Robertson for the Tigers.

Pettitte will be pushed back a day and take the hill against the Tampa Bay Rays in St. Petersburg on Monday.

After an off day, Detroit plans to use Robertson on Tuesday night in Kansas City.
