The 34-year-old left-hander Redman, who is 2-3 with a 7.84 ERA in seven games (six starts) this season, was optioned to Colorado Springs. Redman owns a 68-83 career record with a 4.83 earned run average in 216 games throughout parts of his 10 major league seasons.
