Rockies Activate Sun-Woo Kim

Posted: 11:39 pm PDT May 23, 2006

(Sports Network) - The Colorado Rockies activated right-handed pitcher Sun-Woo Kim from the 15-day disabled list Tuesday.

Kim had been sidelined with a right shin contusion after being struck by a liner in a 10-8 loss to Philadelphia on April 14. He allowed three hits and two runs in the eighth inning of an 8-1 loss to the Dodgers Tuesday, bringing his ERA to 19.50 this season.

The Rockies also optioned right-handed pitcher Scott Dohmann to Triple-A Colorado Springs. He has no record with a 4.76 ERA in 13 relief appearances this year, but began the season on the DL with a viral infection before being activated on April 18.
