Deck Collapses During Everett Potluck

EVERETT, Wash. -- Three people were injured when the deck of a home collapsed Sunday afternoon in Everett, reported KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.The owner of the home on Friday Avenue was having a Hawaiian-themed potluck when the deck detached from the house and slid down the wall. Investigators said at least 10 people were on the small deck when it collapsed just before 3 p.m.Two people were transported to the hospital by ambulance and another was taken by private vehicle. All suffered minor injuries.The collapse of the deck also broke a window in the home.
