76ers Wrap Up Home-And-Home Set In Chicago

(Sports Network) - The scuffling Philadelphia 76ers will try and right the ship in the back end of a home-and-home set with the Chicago Bulls in the Windy City on Tuesday.

Rookie star Derrick Rose scored 18 points, dished out a career-high 10 assists and grabbed five rebounds, leading the Bulls to a 103-92 victory over the Sixers on Sunday in Philadelphia.

Drew Gooden added 20 points and 12 rebounds for the Bulls, who have won two of three and finished up a massive 12-day, seven-game road trip with a 3-4 record.

Ben Gordon had a team-high 21 points, while Larry Hughes contributed 16 points off the bench in the win.

In the friendly confines of the United Center, Chicago is 5-2 this season.

Elton Brand, the No. 1 overall pick by the Bulls in 1999, had 21 points and 12 rebounds for the 76ers, who have now lost four in a row.

Thaddeus Young posted 17 points, while Andre Miller had a double-double with 15 points and 10 assists. Willie Green contributed 12 points in a reserve role for Philadelphia, which is a miserable 2-6 on the road this season.

The visitor has won five straight games in the series between the two teams.

The Sixers won three of four meetings between the two clubs last season, including both matchups in Chicago.
