Police have been told there are some of the same devices in the Seattle as the ones that caused a bomb scare Wednesday in Boston.

Seattle police spokeswoman Debra Brown said the department is in contact with the company responsible for using them as advertising. No one reported them as suspicious in Seattle and there has been no bomb scare in the city. The devices are being removed.

The Seattle Fire Department told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News there were no reports of suspicious packages Wednesday.

Turner Broadcasting said they were part of a promotion for the Cartoon Network TV show "Aqua Teen Hunger Force."

Turner said packages of magnetic lights were part of an outdoor marketing campaign and have been in place two or three weeks in several cities, including Seattle. The other cities are Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Portland, Austin, San Francisco and Philadelphia.

Turner Broadcasting said it's notifying police of all the locations. The company apologizes and regrets the devices were mistaken as dangerous in Boston.
