Drunk-driving charges were filed against 54-year-old Deana F. Jarrett, from Woodinville after police said her blood-alcohol level registered a 0.47 six times over the state legal limit of 0.08, when she was arrested April 11.

According to the Washington State Patrol, Jarrett was arrested after she was involved in two separate car collisions, minutes apart, on Eastbound state Route 520 on the exit to Redmond Way shortly before 4 p.m.

Police said Jarrett was driving a 1997 Saab when she failed to stop for traffic and rear-ended a 2006 Volkswagen Passat driven by 53-year-old Kinsey E. Schneider of Redmond.

According to the WSP, Jarrett tried unsuccessfully to keep Schneider from calling police before trying to drive off.

Police said moments later, while pulling out and attempting to leave the scene, Jarrett rear-ended a 2004 Lexus SUV driven by 52-year-old Darlene S. Green of Snoqualmie.

Neither Schneider nor Green was injured in the collisions, but Jarrett was taken to Evergreen Hospital as a precaution.

Once released, Jarrett was booked into the King County Jail on suspicion of DUI.

According to the WSP, Jarrett does have a criminal history, and was arrested the day prior on a DUI charge by the Redmond Police Department.

Jarrett does have a valid driver’s license.
