2 Hit By Car Along Seattle Waterfront

SEATTLE -- A pickup truck struck two people walking across Alaskan Way on Seattle's waterfront Friday, police said. The two were taken to Harborview Medical Center.A witness told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News the two -- a man and a woman -- were crossing in the 2000 block of Alaska Way in a crosswalk when they were hit.Police said the driver of the pickup was cited.There was no immediate word on the conditions of the two people who were struck.Video from Chopper 7 showed both lanes of traffic blocked on southbound Alaskan Way and one lane blocked northbound.
