Man Killed In I-5 Crash

MILTON, Wash. -- A man who police said was driving an Acura at speeds of nearly 100 mph was killed in a crash on southbound Interstate 5 near Milton on Sunday.Police said witnesses told the Washington State Patrol the driver left the road, hit cable barriers, and crashed through a median into oncoming traffic, hitting three vehicles.The driver of the Acura was pronounced dead at the scene. One other driver was transported to the hospital for neck pains.State officials are investigating whether the cable barriers should have stopped the speeding car from entering the oncoming lanes of traffic.
