Body Discovered In Tacoma Bay

TACOMA, Wash. -- A body was discovered in Commencement Bay near the Lobster Shop restaurant in Tacoma Monday afternoon, Tacoma police told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.The body appears to be skeletal remains in a diving suit in 200 feet of water.An off-duty firefighter on a dive noticed the remains.Tacoma police said they believe it may be a diver who disappeared in the same area in November 2006.Divers used sonar and an underwater remote device to recover the body.
