A bald eagle had to be rescued from a tree after it was found tangled in nylon line used for bailing hay, which was wrapped around a tree branch Wednesday, reported KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.

It was discovered by the property owner, Brent Ewald, in East Bremerton on Illahee Road Northeast.

Ewald called a wildlife rehabilitator who hired a tree climber to go up and retrieve the bird, which was stuck about 80 feet up in a Douglas Fir tree.

KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporter Kevin McCarty was able to capture photos of the rescue on his cell phone camera.
