Man With Skeleton Makeup Robs Pharmacy

Police said a man with a painted face robbed a Safeway store in North Seattle on Halloween night.

The robber had painted his face black and white to look like a skeleton, authorities said.

The man entered the store on 15th Avenue west of Lake City at about 9 p.m., went to the store’s pharmacy and pulled out a gun.

Authorities said the man left the store with a handful of the narcotics Oxycontin and Methadone.

When police arrived, the man was gone.

Investigators said the same man may be responsible for other robberies in the area.

The man is described as white, 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing 185 pounds. He has short, dark hair and was wearing a navy blue sweater and a dark backpack.

The store has a surveillance camera fixed on the entrance, but police said the face paint the man was wearing may make it difficult to identify him.
